Are there any additional costs beyond the monthly fee?

No. The price shown is the price paid - no setup fee, no hidden costs, no surprises. Certain add-on features are available at an additional charge and are listed transparently.

Does Finokapi replace the accountant or bookkeeping function?

No. Finokapi complements existing bookkeeping rather than replacing it. Based on data from the connected accounting system, Finokapi automatically generates P&L, BWA, balance sheet, and cash flow reports, enables detailed drill-downs at account level, and calculates relevant KPIs. On top of that, financial planning and forecasting can be done directly within Finokapi. Existing accounting workflows and the relationship with the tax advisor remain entirely unchanged.

How is my data kept secure?

Your data is in safe hands with us. We host exclusively on servers within the EU. All data is processed in compliance with GDPR and encrypted both in transit and at rest. You can find more details in our privacy policy.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes, anytime. Changes take effect immediately and are reflected transparently on your monthly invoice – calculated to the exact day from the moment you switch.

Can I add more users and entities?

All plans include unlimited users. The reason is simple: financial planning works better as a team.

For entities, it’s like this: the Starter plan includes two companies, the Pro plan includes five. If you need more, you can flexibly add additional companies.

Which accounting systems are supported?

Finokapi can be connected to all common accounting systems in the DACH region, including DATEV, Addison, Agenda, BMD, Scopevisio, Collmex, Exact, HMD, Lexware Office, Sage, sevDesk, Simba and RZL.

How long does my subscription run?

The monthly plan renews automatically each month and can be cancelled with 14 days' notice before the end of the current billing period. The annual plan renews automatically each year and can be cancelled with one month's notice before the end of the current contract period.
